Dr Timothy Carr is a general practitioner and is currently President of the Maharishi Vedic Health Practitioners Association of Australia. He graduated in medicine in 1976 at Sydney University, and completed his postgraduate studies in Maharishi Vedic Medicine at the MERU Research Institute, Switzerland; MIU Institute of Ayur-Vedic Studies, Iowa, USA; Gujarat Ayur-Veda University, Jamnagar, India; the World Centre for Ayur-Veda, Delhi, India and Maharishi Vedic University, Holland. Dr Carr has trained many doctors and practitioners in this prevention-oriented approach and has lectured Australia-wide on Vedic self-healthcare principles.
