International visitors & training

Dr David Graham and Professor Albert Farrugia attended the 12th International Conference of Drug Regulatory Authorities (ICDRA) from 3 to 6 April 2006 in Seoul, South Korea.

Over the past few months, the TGA has hosted a number of short-term visits by delegations from government agencies in China, Switzerland, Turkey, Iran, Indonesia and the United Kingdom.

The TGA also provided training to government officials from Singapore, China and South Africa on a cost recovery basis or with financial sponsorship from the World Health Organization in the areas of the regulation of medicines, blood and blood products, vaccines and medicinal product laboratory testing.
