Australia - European Free Trade Association mutual recognition agreement (EFTA-MRA)

The Australia-EFTA Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) is an Agreement of treaty status, which has been negotiated on terms, which are almost identical to the Australia-European Community MRA on conformity assessment (EC-MRA) <http://www.tga.gov.au/international/ecmra.htm> with some minor variations.

The EFTA-MRA was signed in Brussels on 29 April 1999 and the effect of the Agreement extends the regime of the EC-MRA to include Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland.
