Scheduling applications will continue to be accepted by the Secretariat after the cut-off for applications for consideration at the June 2010 meeting. These applications will be considered under the new arrangements coming into force on 1 July 2010 in accordance with the transitional provision in section 13(2) of the Therapeutic Goods Amendment (2009 Measures No. 2) Act 2009 No. 96 2009. Applicants will be advised of any relevant Advisory Committee meeting dates at which their application may considered after these dates have been agreed by the new committee members. Applicants should note that this can only occur following the appointment of members to the Advisory Committee on Medicines Scheduling and the Advisory Committee on Chemicals Scheduling.
